Dexory today announced that it and partner Raymond Storage Concepts Inc. have deployed its technology at an ODW Logistics distribution center in Columbus, Ohio.

At the facility, Dexory’s autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and DexoryView digital twin platform scan and analyze warehouse data in real time. The company said they enable ODW Logistics to detect and resolve inventory discrepancies sooner through frequent automated scans.

“We are proud to see the impact Dexory’s technology is making at ODW Logistics,” stated Todd Boone, vice president of North America at Dexory. “Through our collaboration with Raymond Storage Concepts, we’re empowering warehouse teams with instant visibility and intelligent automation, enabling them to achieve new levels of operational performance.”

Nashville, Tenn.-based Dexory said it combines AMRs, artificial intelligence, and digital twins. The company claimed that its DexoryView platform provides warehouse and supply chain operators with full operational visibility and real-time insights from Day 1. Its customers include GXO, Maersk, DHL, Stellantis, and GE Appliances.

DexoryView analyzes warehouse data in real time

Dexory said its AMRs use optical cameras and lidar sensors to measure distances and map spaces. They are capable of scanning up to 10,000 locations per hour, collecting vast amounts of data from warehouses.

The DexoryView platform analyzes and visualizes the data gathered by the robots. The company said it can provide useful and accurate information about inventory accuracy, as well as make suggestions for optimizing the warehouse space.

The system also helps accelerate reconciliation, reduces labor hours spent on manual checks, and supports pallet auditing for CHEP and PECO pallets to reduce chargebacks, said Dexory. In addition, the AMRs and DexoryView can capture and analyze more than 20,000 storage locations per mission, autonomously completing full-facility scans multiple times per week without disrupting operations.

“This project with ODW Logistics demonstrates the power of partnership and innovation,” said Chris Orsog, division sales manager for engineered solutions at Raymond Storage Concepts. “By combining our intralogistics expertise with Dexory’s real-time data and automation technology, we’re helping our customers make their warehouses smarter, faster and more efficient.”

Cincinnati-based Raymond Storage Concepts provides tailored material handling systems, including automation, telematics, and new and used forklifts, as well as maintenance and service support.

ODW employees focus on efficiency and accuracy

DexoryView‘s interface provides ODW Logistics teams with visual confirmation of location data, trend analysis, and actionable insights that support faster decision-making. By integrating with existing systems, the technology allows the third-party logistics provider (3PL) to refocus its teams from searching for discrepancies to correcting them, improving both accuracy and efficiency.

“DexoryView has transformed how we manage inventory and identify process issues,” said Kayla Watson, senior inventory manager at ODW Logistics.

“The ability to complete autonomous scans, capture detailed data, and act on insights in real time has allowed our teams to work more efficiently, with fewer discrepancies and faster problem resolution,” she said. “It’s a game-changer in our pursuit of automation and supply chain excellence.”

ODW Logistics said it helps companies make smarter choices about warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, and transportation so they can streamline costs and operate more efficiently. The company said it takes a strategic and collaborative approach to logistics planning, and it finds solutions to control costs and get product to customers as efficiently as possible.
