Nowaste Logistics, a Nordic logistics company, has become the first company to install an AutoCase from AutoStore at one of its warehouses. The system automates the loading and unloading of full cases.
“AutoCase is a solution that is as simple as it is ingenious. It eliminates time-consuming manual work and increases efficiency, speed, and storage density in one of our highly automated warehouses,” said Patrik Johnfors, the head of solution design and implementation at Nowaste Logistics.
AutoCase allows for cases to be moved into storage, where customers can then pick eaches until they are empty. AutoStore said this is a simple but powerful capability for high-volume warehouses.
Swisslog supplied the system, which AutoStore first launched in 2025.
“We are very pleased that Nowaste Logistics is the first AutoStore customer to pilot AutoCase,” stated Giulia Colombi, the Swisslog CEO of EMEA. “They are a company that embraces innovation, is eager to test new solutions, and is not afraid to challenge established ways of working to improve their operations.” “
“At Swisslog, we see the AutoCase port as an important step forward as it expands the range of applications that can be automated with AutoStore technology,” she added. “By enabling automated case handling directly within the AutoStore system, it supports new workflows and helps customers achieve an even higher level of automation, efficiency, and operational flexibility.”
