As the logistics industry continues to evolve, it must respond to customer demands and improve accuracy, noted Dexory. The Wallingford, U.K.-based company today announced that it has “reshaped” its DexoryView flagship product to match this evolution.

Introduced in 2023, DexoryView combines robotics, digital twins, and artificial intelligence to understand, analyze, and manage warehouses in real time. Dexory said it provides supply chain and warehouse operators full visibility into their operations.

“By driving innovation, we enable warehouses to operate with greater precision and efficiency,” stated Andrei Danescu, co-founder and CEO of Dexory. “This next level of functionality empowers businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions while reducing disruptions and enhancing operational performance.”

“With the new capability from DexoryView, we are committed to addressing the most pressing challenges our customers encounter,” he added. “There will be more announcements in the near future about other additional functionality.”

In October 2024, Dexory raised $80 million toward global expansion. In December, Dexory announced that it will integrate DexoryView with Körber Supply Chain Software’s warehouse management system (WMS).

Warehouse operators need more operational visibility

The logistics industry faces a number of challenges relating to inventory visibility and inaccuracy, noted Dexory. To function well, a warehouse operator needs stock integrity, or the knowledge that inventory is in the right place, in the right quantities, and in the right quality and storage conditions, it said.

Dexory cited estimates that warehouse operators lose up to 30% of their productivity and experience 15% increases in costs because of sub-optimal slotting. Therefore, detecting misplacements, verifying quantities, and monitoring conditions is key to maximizing warehouse efficiencies and profitability.

DexoryView can help ensure availability through an accurate and up-to-date system of record, the company said. The product now consists of modules for more comprehensive inventory data, enhancing the tracking of “warehouse health and hygiene.”

The first module, DexoryView Integrity, brings together existing and new functionality that has already allowed customers such as Maersk to reduce WMS errors by 15% and save six hours per day by quickly locating stock.

It has also allowed companies like Yusen Logistics to save 98 hours per month by moving to daily wall-to-wall counts, said Dexory.

DexoryView Integrity deepens warehouse insights

The DexoryView Integrity module provides a deeper analysis on the health of the warehouse with lidar, AI-powered image analysis, and advanced object identification. Dexory claimed that these features can improve accuracy and cover all key storage methods, including pickface, block, and bulk storage.

Key new features in the DexoryView  Integrity module include:

  • Basic inventory checks: Dexory said autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) can help businesses automate their inventory checks and establish a single source of truth for warehouse efficiency.
  • Bulk and block stack volume assessment: Providing accurate item counts of non-palletized units in block stack floor locations can help operators promptly address discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Pick volume assessment: This provides count estimates for inventory stored in pick locations, helping operators track remaining cases and detect discrepancies. It also enables exception-based pick area management with reduced risk and clear visibility on replenishment needs.
  • Pallet analysis: The company said its new module identifies and tracks rental pallets, reducing costs associated with lost or misplaced assets.
  • Empty location checks: Businesses are able to determine which locations currently have no inventory, removing the need for manual checks.

“These capabilities not only safeguard inventory health. but also enhance workflow precision, empowering businesses to eliminate costly inefficiencies and errors,” said Dexory.

DexoryView Integrity has allowed organizations such as vente-unique.com to move from 92% to 98% accuracy in the matter of days, the company said.

In addition, DexoryView has helped businesses like GWC achieve 99% accuracy in tracking and identifying inventory. Dexory said this has enabled the business to streamline its processes and achieve significant cost savings.
