As the automated warehouse ecosystem matures, industry associations are growing. enVista LLC, a leading supply chain systems integrator, yesterday said it has been accepted into The Robotics Group of materials handling trade association MHI.

The Robotics Group (TRG) admitted enVista as one of 42 new members because of its advanced enterprise solutions and extensive consulting and integration services, said the company.

“We are honored to be welcomed into MHI’s Robotics Group,” stated Kyle Smith, vice president of automation at enVista. “As part of this esteemed community, my team is committed to advancing robotic solutions to help leading organizations tackle the increasing challenges they face in labor, throughput and operational costs. I look forward to creating synergies with The Robotics Group to further this mission.”

enVista services span robot deployments

“Industrial robotics are filling the critical need in warehouses across every industry for increased speed, efficiency, and precision,” said enVista.

The Carmel, Ind.-based company said its enVista’s robotics integration services span implementation process from selection to implementation, integration, testing, and change management. It claimed that it can help drive efficiency in the warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing environments.

With more than 20 years of domain experience, enVista said it serves thousands of leading brands with robots and automation, Microsoft systems, consulting services, controls, and simulation.

The company added that its team of integration, labor management, warehouse design, distribution center automation, and systems engineers can project and model an optimal approach to each distribution center. It recently appointed retail and IT veteran Jim Brownell as chief operating officer for enterprise technology.

TRG gathers supply chain industry leaders

MHI serves the materials handling, logistics, and supply chain industry and will put on the ProMat 2025 event in Chicago. The Robotics Group includes manufacturers, integrators, consultants, and component suppliers of robotic systems designed for warehousing and distribution applications.

“The demand for automation and robotics solutions is skyrocketing, and our acceptance into MHI’s Robotics Group underscores our success in this field,” said enVista CEO Jim Barnes. “We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and are dedicated to supporting warehouse leaders as they navigate the rise of emerging technologies in the modern facility.”
