ForwardX Robotics Inc., which claimed that it is the largest goods-to-person mobile robot provider in Asia, has set its sights on global expansion. The Beijing-based company announced a strategic partnership with VOYATZOGLOU Group as its official distributor in Greece.

“ForwardX Robotics and the VOYATZOGLOU Group are poised to redefine the landscape of warehouse automation by providing reliable, robust, and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in Greece and Romania,” stated Nikos Voyatzoglou, chairman of the Athens-based company.

Founded in 1992, VOYATZOGLOU said it is a leading provider of equipment for retail stores, warehouses, and distribution centers. The group said it will “bring its extensive expertise to propel the adoption of ForwardX Robotics’ full lineups and advanced solutions.”

In addition, VOYATZOGLOU’s EuroFit subsidiary will distribute ForwardX automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in the Romanian market.

VOYATZOGLOU supports varied sectors

VOYATZOGLOU Group, which is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, said it supports both small and large supply chain facilities and distribution centers. The company said it is a reliable provider of integrated systems to clients in various sectors.

In recent years, VOYATZOGLOU has entered partnerships in the Greek and international markets in response to the growing fields of robotics and automation. The group employs more than 180 professionals specializing in pre-sales, engineering, and logistics.

“This strategic alliance marks a transformative era for warehouse automation in the region,” said ForwardX, a 2022 winner of the RBR50 innovation award.
