ForwardX Robotics Inc., which claimed that it is the largest goods-to-person mobile robot provider in Asia, has set its sights on global expansion. The Beijing-based company announced a strategic partnership with VOYATZOGLOU Group as its official distributor in Greece.
“ForwardX Robotics and the VOYATZOGLOU Group are poised to redefine the landscape of warehouse automation by providing reliable, robust, and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses in Greece and Romania,” stated Nikos Voyatzoglou, chairman of the Athens-based company.
Founded in 1992, VOYATZOGLOU said it is a leading provider of equipment for retail stores, warehouses, and distribution centers. The group said it will “bring its extensive expertise to propel the adoption of ForwardX Robotics’ full lineups and advanced solutions.”
In addition, VOYATZOGLOU’s EuroFit subsidiary will distribute ForwardX automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in the Romanian market.
VOYATZOGLOU supports varied sectors
VOYATZOGLOU Group, which is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, said it supports both small and large supply chain facilities and distribution centers. The company said it is a reliable provider of integrated systems to clients in various sectors.
In recent years, VOYATZOGLOU has entered partnerships in the Greek and international markets in response to the growing fields of robotics and automation. The group employs more than 180 professionals specializing in pre-sales, engineering, and logistics.

ForwardX Robotics grows global fleet
With offices in the U.S., Japan, South Korea, and China, ForwardX Robotics noted that it has deployed more than 3,000 mobile robots in over 220 facilities worldwide.

Founded in 2016, ForwardX provides vision-based AMRs for materials handling and goods-to-person (G2P) operations in warehouses and factories. It has more than 350 patents and over 250 employees. The company asserted that its Omni-Fleet robots and fleet management software can help businesses of all sizes achieve higher performance and value in their supply chains. It also offers AMRs through a robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) model.
In addition, ForwardX said its lineup addresses diverse applications including case picking, piece picking, pallet movement, and multi-floor fulfillment. The company said its AMRs and software serve industries including automotive, manufacturing, third-party logistics (3PL), e-commerce, retail, healthcare, grocery, and home furnishings.
