Movu Robotics last week said it is partnering with MHS Lift Inc., a warehousing and distribution solutions provider in North America. MHS Lift is Movu’s first integrator in North America to successfully commission its second system.
MHS Lift started working with the company in 2019, when it integrated the first-ever Movu Robotics system in North America.
“Partnering with Movu was the right choice for our clients, and they are fantastic partners,” said Brett Levin, the co-president of MHS Lift. “We were the first to realize the technology’s potential in the North American market, and our-long standing relationship reflects our focus on staying at the forefront of warehouse automation and emerging technologies.”
“Our goal is to equip our clients with industry-leading solutions that drive performance, efficiency, and long-term value,” he said.
MHS brings integration expertise to the partnership
Through the partnership, MHS Lift integrates Movu’s Atlas four-way shuttle system, a robot-assisted automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS). Movu said it engineered the system to maximize pallet storage density, streamline material flow, and enhance operational efficiency.
Movu Atlas uses autonomous shuttle robots that move pallets within specially designed rack lanes, allowing warehouses to minimize aisle width and maximize usable storage space. The system integrates with existing warehouse management systems (WMS), so operations are seamlessly controlled through smart software.
“MHS Lift has been a trusted and forward-thinking partner for Movu Robotics since the very beginning of our journey in North America,” said Mathieu Theureau, vice president of U.S. sales at Movu Robotics.
“Their deep integration expertise and strong understanding of customer needs make them an ideal partner for deploying advanced solutions like Movu atlas,” he added. “Together, we’re enabling warehouses to achieve higher density, greater flexibility, and measurable performance gains.”
Movu to take part in ASRS webinar
Movu Robotics said it tackles automation with modular, scalable, flexible, and efficient robots. These systems include atlas, a pallet shuttle for multiple deep-lane storage, and Movu ifollow, an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for collaborative picking or transport of load carriers such as pallets. All these solutions include the appropriate supporting software, the Lokeren, Belgium-based company said.
