ANSCER Robotics this week joined the competitive U.S. market for mobile robots and named Mark Messina as managing director and CEO for the Americas. The Bengaluru, India-based company said it is committed to safety, ergonomics, and ease of use.
Messina has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and operations. He will lead ANSCER’s expansion to industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, food and beverage, and third-party logistics (3PL).
Founded in 2020, the company recently said it received funding from InfoEdge Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage companies. ANSCER said its autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are designed for easy integration, enhancing productivity and operational sustainability.
Messina has a history of AMR innovation
Messina has played a pivotal role in shaping the robotics landscape, noted ANSCER Robotics. His leadership at Kiva Systems, Amazon Robotics, Addverb Technologies, and Geek+ included the development and adoption of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and AMRs worldwide.

Messina was a guest on Episode 5 and Episode 72 of The Robot Report Podcast, when he was at Addverb.
ANSCER said its appointment of Messina demonstrates its commitment to safety-driven automation, “ensuring that human-machine collaboration is at the heart of our technological advancements.”
Messina will lead ANSCER’s go-to-market strategy, business development, partnerships, and customer success. His goal is to ensure that enterprises benefit from intelligent, scalable systems that drive efficiency, cost reduction, and long-term growth.
“ANSCER Robotics is not just delivering automation— we are redefining efficiency and innovation in robotics,” stated Messina.
“Our solutions are designed to empower industries while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and productivity,” he said. “I’m thrilled to lead ANSCER’s expansion in the U.S. and introduce cutting-edge robotics that truly make a difference.”
ANSCER pursues growth, market leadership
As Industry 4.0 accelerates, ANSCER Robotics asserted that its autonomous systems smoothly integrate with existing infrastructures. It has designed the AMRs to enhance productivity and safety, serving as a catalyst for progress across industries.
The company said its engineers and industry experts have built its AMRs to navigate dynamic environments, make real-time decisions, and improve throughput. ANSCER added that its robots can help reduce operational costs and improve scalability.
It claimed that its “hybrid” AMRs integrate the precision and structure of AGVs with the intelligence of AMRs for efficiency and adaptability for warehouse and other operations.
ANSCER Robotics said the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas, and its participation in LogiMAT Mumbai marked “the beginning of a new era of robotics innovation in the Americas.”
“Mark’s leadership strengthens our commitment to global expansion and customer-driven innovation,” added Ribin Mathew, founder and CEO of ANSCER Robotics. “His experience and vision will accelerate ANSCER’s growth, making us a leader in the U.S. robotics market.”
