Element Logic and lululemon yesterday opened lulemon’s newest distribution center in Brampton, Ontario. The 1 million sq. ft. (92,903 sq. m) facility represents the latest milestone in the companies’ 14-year automation partnership and supports lulelemon’s growing e-commerce business across Eastern Canada and the U.S.

“The Brampton facility—the largest AutoStore deployment in Canada and second largest in North America — reflects what is possible when long-term trust and technical execution come together at scale,” said Krish Nathan, CEO of Element Logic Americas. “We are proud to support lululemon with integrated automation that is designed around the needs of a complex, growing omnichannel network.”

Founded in 1985, Element Logic specializes in warehouse automation and software and said it is the first and largest AutoStore partner. By integrating advanced robotics, data, and system orchestration, the Kløfta, Norway-based company said it helps customers unlock smarter, more efficient supply chain operations.

lululemon builds out fulfillment capability

Element Logic first collaborated with Vancouver-based lululemon more than a decade ago . That relationship has since grown into an automation program spanning nine distribution centers (DCs) across Canada, the U.S., and Australia, with Brampton serving as the partnership’s most ambitious project to date.

The companies said the project reflects a comprehensive approach to automation, with a high-density automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) serving within a larger fulfillment environment. Element Logic helped bring together the robotics, conveyance, transport, and software components needed to create a coordinated operation capable of supporting the fitness apparel brand’s store and digital channels from a single large-scale site.

“Since breaking ground in 2023, our new Brampton DC marks a significant milestone in the continued evolution of lululemon’s global supply chain,” said Ted Dagnese, chief supply chain officer of lululemon. “This facility expands our fulfillment capabilities in Canada and the U.S., enabling us to better serve our guests and operate with greater speed and agility.”

Element Logic brings together robots and other equipment

lululemon’s latest DC features 525 AutoStore R5 pro robots and 292,000 storage bins. They are supported by approximately 24,000 linear feet (7,315.2 m) of material handling equipment, an overhead monorail transport system, advanced omnichannel fulfillment technologies, and a fully integrated software ecosystem.

Element Logic said these systems support one of North America’s largest and most advanced automated distribution operations, strengthening lululemon’s ability to move product efficiently across stores and e-commerce. The partners developed and launched the facility through a phased approach.

The Brampton facility became fully operational in June 2026 after extensive planning, testing, training, and readiness activities. Also last month, Element Logic began work on a DC with hardware provider Hillman Group in Forest Park, Ohio.
